Anna M. Weselak

As an educator and a teacher with a Masters Degree in Education, Anna Weselak brings to the training field her experience from education, business, and community. Her love of teaching has offered her the opportunity of teaching the very young, as well as the young at heart. Doing sales and marketing for a small business in a very highly competitive market allowed Anna to become acquainted with the business world. Through leading an active life in community and volunteer organizations for over twenty-five years, Anna has strengthened her leadership skills and knows the importance of interpersonal relationships, teamwork and effective communication.

Ms. Weselak runs her own consulting business, Weselak & Associates, while serving as a manager for Inscape Publishing and instructor for Pearson. She has held seminars, classes, and workshops for a variety of businesses, agencies, and organizations. She is currently on the faculty of College of DuPage and St. Xavier University. Professional memberships include the Lombard Chamber of Commerce, the Glendale Heights Chamber of Commerce and serves as a past chairman of the board of directors of the Oak Brook Area Association of Commerce and Industry. She is a former board member of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Chicago Chapter and holds membership in the American Society for Training and Development, Association for Supervision and Curriculum and Development, and the National Association of Parliamentarians.

Ms. Weselak has been recognized for many of her accomplishments including: a National PTA Honorary Life Member, recipient of over 20 state PTA Honorary Life Memberships, Lombard Woman of the Year, listed in six editions of Who's Who, 1996 edition of 2000 Notable Women in the U.S., 1997 international edition of 500 Notable Women, a recipient of an Illinois School Board Association Those Who Excel Merit Award, the International Communication Award of Excellence, Illinois Association of School Administrators DuPage Citizen of the Year, and by The Business Ledger 2003 Annual Achievement Award and their 2004 Most Influential Woman in Business Award. For six years, she served on the state board the Illinois Federation of Women's Clubs and was a member of the Board of Directors of the North Central Regional Educational Laboratory (NCREL). Weselak has been a member of the PTA for over 25 years as a teacher and then as a parent. She is a past president of the Illinois PTA and served as President of the National PTA.

As the CEO of Weselak & Associates, Anna prides herself on leading a nation-wide company servicing a diverse client base by customizing seminars, workshops, and classes to meet the individual needs of each client while being focused on each participant in every class and seminar.

Peggy Killian is the Director of Career Education, in the Center for Professional Excellence at Elmhurst College and a private Life and Career Coach.Peggy Killian

Peggy Killian is the Director of Career Education, in the Center for Professional Excellence at Elmhurst College and a private Life and Career Coach. She is an alumna of Elmhurst College, receiving her undergraduate degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on Leadership. She received her Masters in Education Organizational Leadership from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, as well as coaching certification coursework from the Coaches Training Institute, San Rafael, CA.

Peggy's passion centers on leadership and professional development. She is a Lead facilitator for the LeaderShape Institute, and has facilitated workshops for the DuPage Education to Careers Student Leadership Academy. She also produces professional development workshops for the Elmhurst College Student Government Association Leadership Conferences, Elmhurst College Administrative Directors and the Orientation Student Leaders, on an annual basis. Other for-profit and not- for-profit organizations have engaged Peggy to assist them in developing an understanding of the organizational needs for leadership and to recognize the value their individuals bring as leaders.

Peggy endorses a mission that helps people, one at a time, define and refine their purpose, through awareness of professional skills, interests, and talents culminating in a clear leadership vision and direction.

  Nancy Moran

Nancy is owner of Nancy Moran & Associates, a training and professional development consulting company she established in 1997 after a successful career in the corporate world.

With a passion for helping people in individual and organizational development, she utilizes her training, public speaking, teaching and professional experience to deliver dynamic, interactive learning workshops. More than twenty years of experience in project management, sales, executive assistance, office management and training, coupled with being a college instructor, enables her to provide individuals the tools necessary to achieve personal and professional growth.

Creating and delivering customized workshops, she helps people identify and capitalize on their strengths to achieve success. Equally important, she provides the tips and techniques to help employees make a significant contribution to the organization. Her personal experience and professional expertise have proven beneficial in training managers, office and administrative professionals, support staff, and future generation leaders.

Some of the workshops Nancy designs and delivers include: Customer Service Essentials; Developing EQ/Adventures in Attitude; Leadership and Management Strategies; Business Presentation Skills; Enhancing Performance through Understanding Yourself and Others; Professional Development; Strategies for Greater Workplace Satisfaction; Discovering Diversity & Cultural Awareness; Creating and Working as a Dynamic Team; Coping & Stress; Becoming a Master of Time; and Managing Change through Transition.

She has been an adjunct faculty member of Harper Community College in Palatine, Illinois for 15 years and served as a Professional Reviewer of manuscripts for Prentice Hall CPS Review Books. She co-authored with her daughter Irks and Quirks, a book currently being reviewed for publication. She is in the process of authoring a business book about effective people skills in the work place.

Nancy's professional and volunteer activities include membership in the National Association of Women Business Owners, in which she is Chairperson of the Next Generation Outreach Committee. She serves on the Career Services Committee for WINGS (Women in Need Growing Stronger), the Board of Directors for the Illinois Baptist State Association, the Administrative Technology Advisory Board of Harper College and participates in the CHARACTER COUNTS! program for young people in her community.

In April, 2003, Nancy was a finalist for "Woman Business Owner of the Year" for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO); in July 2002, Nancy received the "Bridgebuilder Award" from NAWBO for developing business relationships between NAWBO and other organizations; in Fall 2002, Nancy was nominated for the "Influential Woman in Business" Award; in Spring, 2002, she was nominated for the "Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year" Business Ledger Award; and in September 2001, Nancy was honored as "Rookie of the Year' for her outstanding volunteer work with the Kenneth Young Center. Most recently, she has been nominated for the NAWBO National Leadership/Pioneer Award.

In addition to being a Certified Trainer, Nancy holds a Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in Administration from Roosevelt University where she is currently a candidate for the Master of Arts in Training and Development. Nancy resides in Bartlett, Illinois with her husband, Mike.

Betty Staerk

Betty Staerk is an instructional designer with over 20 years of experience in the field of performance improvement & training.Betty Staerk from Staerk Consulting Group is an instructional designer with over 20 years of experience in the field of performance improvement and training. She specializes in the design, development, and implementation of custom performance improvement/training solutions for organizations. She has created training programs for participants ranging from front-line employees to senior management and executives. These programs include end-user software applications and systems training, leadership and management skills, consultative selling skills, customer service skills, strategic planning workshops, and conflict management strategies.

Betty is committed to helping people improve their physical performance and quality of life. As an ACE certified personal trainer Betty strives to help individuals achieve a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Betty has a Bachelor of Arts in English Education and Master of Arts in Human Resource Development/Instructional Design. Betty is currently working toward becoming an ICF certified life coach.

Betty is a member of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).

Kally Reynolds is President of Renaissance Journeys, LLC, a Coaching/Consulting firm focusing on Empowerment, Leadership and Relationship Development, both professionally and personally. She partners with motivated, successful and curious people who want to create more purpose, connection and joy in their work. In addition, Reynolds helps team members create greater connection, trust, commitment and accountability together to achieve outstanding results.

Kally is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) the Global Certifying Body for all Coaches, and a Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC) through international Coaches Training Institute, as well as a graduate of FastTrack Coach Training. Kally is a distributor for DiSC, in-depth management training and sales assessments.

As a professional communicator and consultant, Kally has developed and delivered numerous speeches and workshops to business audiences throughout the US on a variety of topics. Her services include one-on-one coaching, team building, group and individual assessments, and creating greater connection and empowerment through effective, authentic, targeted communication strategies.
